Lily
Pagle
Lily has been a "tomboy" all her life. Growing up, she wrestled
and boxed with her brothers and enjoyed various sports including
skiing, windsurfing & scuba diving. As an adult, Lily has dabbled
in various martial arts including Kendo, however, she has been dedicatedly
involved with Judo since 1991 and teaching Martial Arts, Self Defense
& Personal Safety classes to all ages since 1995. She started doing
Mixed Martial Arts in 1999 and began training with SBGI and formed
Modern Combatives with Alan and Jude in 2002.
Lily also has been working as a Sports Psychology Consultant
and has worked with college athletes and amateur competitors in
the past 6 years. Using her expertise as a counselor, she has helped
many children/adolescents with their self-esteem, behavioral problems
and anger management through Martial Arts. Together with Alan, she
has taught Judo & Self Defense classes in the Police Athletic League
for many years. Lily started a radKIDS program (Polly Klaas Foundation,
a self-esteem, violence prevention program that teaches children
how to avoid/resist abduction, deal with bullies and other skills)
with Alan and is very excited to help children of all ages.
